After sleeping at the east gate, I woke to the sun hitting the colorful rocks and canyon walls. With big horn sheep foraging along the road I passed into the park. Finding information and such at the visitor center I set out to hike the Narrows. A trail that snakes through the canyon in the river. I loved this hike, I loved feeling the water running over my feet the challenge of finding a steady path through the water, and watching he people around me making their way up the water as well. I didn't make it too far up the trail, but enough for it to have taken most of the day before I turned back.
