It’s been said you have to get lost to find yourself.

I'd lost my dad, my job, and my faith in humanity.

I decided to go on a journey, an adventure like no other. To see the places my Dad never got to, to remember him, to remind myself I am alive, and to find myself or die trying. That was the plan. Over those months driving alone on the roads, seeing amazing natural wonders, getting stuck in some crazy situations, and meeting some of the most interesting people it evolved into so much more.

It became Walkabout

This is the record of my trek across the USA, through over 27 national parks, and thousands of miles of highways, byways, country roads and off-road trails. I hope these pictures inspire you to go on your own journey to see the wonders of this country and the wilderness that is still out there.
